🌄 Ba Den Mountain Expedition:
Begin your day with a 7:30 AM pick-up from your hotel by our knowledgeable tour guide and comfortable bus. You'll soon be on your way to Ba Den Mountain, often referred to as the "roof of Southeast Vietnam." The journey to this natural wonder takes approximately over 2 hours.
Upon arrival at Ba Den Station, where you'll find the Guinness World Records-certified largest cable car station globally, you'll have the option to experience two modern cable car routes (self-payment):
The Hang Pagoda cable car route will transport you to the Spiritual Complex of Ba Pagoda, nestled at an altitude of 350 meters on the mountain's slopes. This complex boasts a unique collection of caves, temples, and pagodas, each with its own captivating legends and mysteries. Highlights include Ba Pagoda, Hang Pagoda, Hoang Chung Cave, Trung Pagoda, and New Pagoda.
The Dinh Dong - Tam An cable car route connects you to the Spiritual Complex of Ba Pagoda, leading you to the peak of Ba Den Mountain, Southeast Vietnam's highest summit. At an elevation of 986 meters, you'll witness the tallest Buddha statue in Asia and savor panoramic vistas of Tay Ninh and Dau Tieng Lake from a lofty vantage point.
After the cable car experience, the group will enjoy a local lunch, featuring delightful Vietnamese vegetarian dishes, followed by a short rest on the bus.
🏞 Cu Chi Tunnels Exploration:
The next part of your journey takes you to the renowned Cu Chi Tunnels, a historical site that served as a pivotal hub during the First Indochina War and the Vietnam War. The tunnels encompass bunkers, living quarters, kitchens, storage facilities, workspaces, and an extensive network of underground passages, cleverly concealed as termite mounds.
During your visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels, you'll gain insights into the lives and combat tactics of Viet Cong guerrilla fighters who inhabited and fought in these underground passages. You'll watch valuable documentary footage of the war, providing a deeper understanding of how the people of Vietnam triumphed over technologically advanced weaponry through unwavering determination.
At the tunnels, you'll also have the chance to savor a local specialty, "Cu Chi Tapioca," and tea, a meal that sustained the heroic resistance of the Vietnamese people during challenging times.
Witness primitive, homemade weapons and traps, crawl through the underground tunnels, observe local residents making rice paper and rice wine, and even try your hand at the shooting range within the tunnels (self-payment).
After a day filled with exploration and discovery, the group will return to the city, concluding the tour at around 6:00 PM.
This tour offers a unique opportunity to explore both natural beauty and significant historical landmarks, making it a memorable experience for travelers interested in Southeast Vietnam's rich heritage and captivating landscapes.
