DAY 1: HANOI – SAPA | CAT CAT VILLAGE TREK (LUNCH, DINNER)

06:30 Pick-up at your hotel in Hanoi and depart for Sapa by limousine bus.
13:00 Arrive in Sapa Town. Be welcomed by the vibrant traditional costumes of the H’mong, Dzao, and Tay ethnic people. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant with Vietnamese specialties, then complete hotel check-in procedures.
14:30 Begin a short trek to Cat Cat Village, home of the Black H’mong people, located at the bottom of a deep valley near the foot of Fansipan Peak. Accompanied by a local guide, you will learn about the daily life and traditions of the villagers. Trek downhill to the valley floor to visit the waterfall and the old French-built hydroelectric power station. Stop for photos at the bridge and waterfall before trekking uphill to the main road, where the bus will pick you up and return you to Sapa Town.

DAY 2: SAPA – Y LINH HO – LAO CHAI – TA VAN | RETURN TO HANOI (BREAKFAST, LUNCH)

07:00 – 07:45 Breakfast at the hotel and preparation for the trekking day (light pack recommended).
09:30 Start trekking from Sapa to Y Linh Ho, walking through breathtaking rice terraces and along the Muong Hoa Stream to Lao Chai Village, home of the Black H’mong people. Enjoy spectacular views of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range.
12:30 Picnic lunch at Lao Chai Village.
13:30 Continue trekking to Ta Van Village, home of the Dzay ethnic people.
14:30 Pick-up by bus at Ta Van Bridge and return to Sapa Town.

15:00 – 15:30 Use shower facilities at the hotel.
15:30 Transfer to the bus station with the tour guide.

Day 1
Kayaking & Trekking (L, D)

At 7:30 AM, your local guide will pick you up from your hotel or meet you at the Ba Be office in Bo Lu before starting an exciting day in Ba Be National Park. A short transfer takes you to Boc Lom Pier, where you will receive kayaking instructions and be equipped with dry bags, safety gear, and life jackets.

Begin kayaking along the Nang River, one of the most enjoyable ways to explore the area. Paddle downstream for approximately 11 km, passing through beautiful riverside scenery, visiting the impressive Puong Cave, and continuing on to Dau Dang Waterfall. Lunch will be served at a local riverside village restaurant.

In the afternoon, cross the Nang River and start trekking through steep terrain dotted with distinctive limestone “cat-ear” cliffs. The forest is dense with tall trees, and as you climb higher, stunning mountain views gradually open up. Continue toward the highlands, stopping at a H’Mong ethnic village near the border of Tuyen Quang Province.

Trek a further 4 km to reach a Dao ethnic village, where you will stay overnight in a local homestay. Enjoy dinner and a relaxing evening with a traditional herbal hot-water bath to end the day.

Day 2
Trekking to Ba Be Lake (B, L)

After a simple breakfast, say goodbye to your host family and begin trekking along the trails in the buffer zone of Ba Be National Park. Descending from the mountains, you will pass through cornfields and terraced farms, where you can observe local ethnic communities going about their daily work.

Along the way, stop by a small highland school, where children from grades 1 to 5 study together in one classroom. You may spend some time interacting with the students and experiencing a slice of local life.

Continue trekking a few more kilometers through dense bamboo forests before descending toward Ba Be Lake. Enjoy a simple military-style lunch in the heart of the forest, surrounded by nature. After lunch, continue to the lakeside village, where the tour comes to an end.

• Less than 48 hours before the start of the activity or in the event of a no-show: no refund
• Flight delayed, food poisoning, getting sick unable to attend tour. Under those circumstances, we agree to reschedule your start date with an additional charge of 50% of the total tour cost
• The refund is done using the same payment method. In the event of credit cards which are charged monthly, the amount shall be credited at the end of the current invoicing period.
