ITINERARY:

DAY 1: CU CHI TUNNELS – MEKONG DELTA (VINH LONG)

08:00 AM
Depart from your hotel or the tour office in Ho Chi Minh City and travel approximately 60 km to the Cu Chi Tunnels. Cu Chi is now recognized as a heroic district for its important role during the Vietnam War.

The Cu Chi Tunnels are an extensive underground network once used by Vietnamese resistance forces as military bases, hiding shelters, and communication routes. On the drive from Ho Chi Minh City, pass through peaceful rural scenery where ducks and water buffalo can often be seen cooling off in the rivers. It is hard to imagine that this tranquil area was once heavily bombed and known as a “Free Target Zone.”

Afternoon
Depart Cu Chi for the Mekong Delta. The drive to Vinh Long takes approximately two hours. Stop at a local restaurant along the way to enjoy a Vietnamese lunch.

Arrive in Vinh Long and take some time to rest before cycling along quiet countryside roads to observe daily local life and interact with friendly villagers.

In the evening, join a hands-on cooking class with a local chef. Dinner will be served after the class. Leisure time afterward.

Overnight at a homestay in Vinh Long.

DAY 2: VINH LONG – CAN THO – CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET – HO CHI MINH CITY

06:00 AM
Breakfast at the homestay, then check out.

06:30 AM
Depart for Can Tho City (approximately 1-hour drive), home to the largest floating market in the Mekong Delta.

Upon arrival, take a relaxing boat trip along the tributaries of the Lower Mekong River. Visit Cai Rang Floating Market, the most vibrant floating market in the region, and observe the lively trading activities of locals on the water. Continue exploring nearby villages, fruit gardens, and a traditional rice noodle-making workshop.

Enjoy lunch at a riverside restaurant before returning to Ho Chi Minh City.

04:00 PM
Arrive back in Ho Chi Minh City. End of tour with unforgettable memories of Cu Chi and the Mekong Delta.

Cancellation policy for deposited Tours:
a. If you cancel your booking, your deposit will not be refunded
b. If you are a “no-show” on the morning of the trip, for whatever reason, you will lose your deposit

Cancellation policy for full charged Tours:
a. Up to 48 hours before the start of the activity: full refund

b. Less than 48 hours before the start of the activity or in the event of a no-show: no refund
c. Flight delayed, food poisoning, getting sick unable to attend tour. Under those circumstances, we agree to reschedule your start date with an additional charge of 50% of the total tour cost
d. The refund is done using the same payment method. In the event of credit cards which are charged monthly, the amount shall be credited at the end of the current invoicing period. The exact time of the refund depends on the user’s credit card agreement. The refund by bank transfer shall be done within seven bank working days.
